Former Rutgers defensive back Johnathan Aiken killed in Florida car crash

A former Rutgers football defensive back who had the distinction of being the first player in program history to be named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week has died.

Johnathan Aiken, who played at Rutgers from 2011 through 2014, was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Authentic D.J. Alexander Jersey Friday morning in Fort Lauderdale, according to a report on Local10.com in Florida.
